O , Perrin Paris will open its New York Fagship at 987 Madison in the Carlyle. Robert Marc is coming to 1225 Madison Avenue, next door to a new Malia Mills. Bottega Veneta has a new store for women only at 849 Madison. Paul & Shark is relocating to 667 Madison, replacing Michael Kors, which is taking Steuben’s space on the avenue. After more than 40 years on East 57th Street, Buccellati is moving to 810 Madison.

Find Cesare Attolini’s 􀆤ne Italian clothing at 798 and 800. On Fifth Avenue, Gucci debuted its children’s store at 725. Nike will debut its newest concept store, one dedicated strictly to running, at 156 Fifth Avenue. Cartier’s and Pucci’s shops-in-shop have opened at Saks.

Dolce & Gabbana is taking Escada’s space at 717 Fifth Avenue. Apple’s renovated store at 767 was unveiled. Tommy Bahama has expanded its space at 551 Fifth Avenue to add a cafe. Ted Baker has signed for a 􀆪agship at 595 Fifth.

In Harlem, The Harlem Wine Gallery is set to open at 752 Saint Nicholas Ave.

On the Upper East Side, L’Occitane has opened at 180 East 86th Street. Roberto Cavalli has taken 25 East 63rd Street. Brookstone has opened a permanent shop at 147 East 86th Street. Denim Habit has debuted at 1335 Third Avenue. Andre Balazs is remodeling the Cooper Square Hotel at East 5th Street and Bowery into The Standard, East Village.

In Midtown, Sur La Table will will open at 306 West 57th in December, just in time for holiday cooking. Brookstone is popping up at the Rockefeller Center skating rink, a companion to its shop inside Rock Center, and has opened a permanent unit at 142 West 34th Street. Wired magazine’s annual holiday pop-up shop serves the gadget lovers in your life at Times Square. Find another Denim Habit at 525 Third Avenue in Murray Hill. The HolidayShops return to Bryant Park with an amazing assortment of unique merchandise – and Grand Central Terminal’s Holiday Fair does the same. Ian Schrager’s Public hotel chain will come to the Herald Square area. Ippudo Restaurant will open its second location at 321 West 51st Street. Potbelly is opening on 40th Street and Seventh Avenue. The Hyatt 48 Lex added to lodging options as of October. The legendary Algonquin Hotel at 59 West 44th Street will undergo a major renovation.

In Chelsea, Canvass Home’s second showroom is coming to 123 West 17th Street. La Promenade des Anglais marries New York and Nice with a Mediterranean menu at 461 West 23rd Street. Panera Bread continues its city expansion at 28th Street and Seventh Avenue. Foragers Market will expand across the river from Dumbo to the Gem Hotel. The GEMHotel Union Square will open next year at 52 West 13th Street.

In Soho, REI was scheduled to open at the Puck Building (295 Lafayette Street) on December 2nd. Carhartt Work in Progress’ basic clothing has its 􀆤rst U.S. shop at 119 Crosby Street. Old Hollywood has relocated from the Limelight Marketplace to 250 Broome Street. Tocca is soon to debut at 605 Hudson Street. Alex and Ani’s jewelry will be found at its 􀆤rst New York City store at 425 West Broadway.  Maje replicates its Paris store at 145 Spring Street. The Reformation has opened its new huge space at 156 Ludlow Street. Vegan beauty items from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics are at 174 Ludlow Street. Yigal Azrouël’s younger-skewing brand Cut25 is coming to 129 Grand Street. Look for Tiffany to open in at 97 Greene Street/106 Wooster Street in Fall 2012. Henrik Vibskov has taken 456 Broome Street for his men’s and women’s apparel. Irish designer Orla Kiely has opened at 5 Mercer Street. Italian-sounding, but Russian-born, Carlo Pazolini’s shoes are at 543 Broadway. Cosabella bowed at 220 Lafayette Street.

In Nolita, tech website CNET’s holiday popup gives great gadget at 201 Mulberry Street. In Meatpacking, Nicholas Kirkwood’s shoes are coming to 807 Washington Street. Capizzi features pizza fresh from a wood-burning oven at 547 Ninth Avenue.

In Tribeca, Aamanns Copenhagen brings a Danish sensibility to sandwiches at 13 Laight Street. Sports bar AOA Bar & Grill has come to 35 Sixth Avenue.

On the Lower East Side, Community 54 offers consignment and limited edition apparel at 54 Clinton Street. Saxon + Parole features sustainable produce, as well as meat and seafood at 316 Bowery. The Bowery Diner has a retro attitude to dining at 241 Bowery.

In the West Village, find a bit of London at the new Whitehall restaurant at 19 Greenwich Avenue. In the East Village, look for Golden Cadillac to offer cocktails from around the world at 448 East 13th Street next spring. NY Tofu House offers a healthy alternative at 6 St. Mark’s Place. In FiDi, Basics Plus’ ninth location in the city will be at 85 John Street. Demi Monde will bring cocktails and affordable dining to 90 Broad Street early in 2012. Aroma Espresso Bar adds a unit at Barclay and Church Streets. The Conrad New York hotel, featuring Danny Meyer’s North End Grill, will open at 102 North End Avenue in Battery Park City. The latest reports are that the Four Seasons downtown hotel will break ground in early 2012 at 99 Church Street, for a 2014 completion.

Between the new, and the soon-to-come, New York is shining brighter than ever this winter. Give to those who love you and to those who need you.
